Business Development manager wanted for a new to be opened office in Amsterdam!

Our client specializes in software engineering consultancy, which helps companies develop data management solutions deployed in the cloud. They are leading in the UK market and are now expanding overseas. Therefore we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who will expand the European market and ultimately helps to grow a solid and driven team.

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the following;

  • Creating and searching for new business opportunities, within existing clients both as new environments (on CxO level);
  • Working closely with different vendors, in order to develop the product for valuable sales;
  • Managing the enterprise solution sales cycle;
  • Leading the sales process from inception through to completion.

The Business Development Manager meets the following requirements:

  • Demonstrable commercial experience within a software & services sales environment;
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage a negotiation of complex software and services deals (€28.000,- to €120.000,-);
  • Understanding of the BI and Advanced Analytics marketplace and demonstrable experience of working with key vendors such as Microsoft/Oracle/SAAS/SAP etc;
  • Exceptional communication skills including comfort presenting at CxO level and the ability to lead the development of marketing collateral and bid content.

You will be rewarded with a total salary of maximum €10.000,- gross a month. This includes a fixed (70%) and variable (30%) salary. In addition, interesting benefits are included.
